Boiler blowdown

Before the blowdown, the boiler water level is at the normal high water level, and the boiler pressure is 0.1-0.2MPA. According to the principle of “draining frequently, discharging less, and discharging evenly” (at least once a day), it is carried out shortly and intermittently, that is, the blowdown valve is opened and closed immediately , Turn it off and turn it on again, repeat this several times until the water level is at a normal low water level. Remember not to empty the boiler.

Safety accessories such as boiler pressure gauges and safety valves should be checked regularly to ensure their reliability (pressure gauges are at least once every six months, and safety valves are at least once a year).

After 12 months of continuous operation of horizontal fuel (gas) boilers, the smoke box door should be opened to clean the dust in the furnace or the smoke pipe, check whether the smoke box cement falls off, and repair the fall off.

Clean up and paint the rust on exposed parts such as the base at least once a year.

Boiler shutdown maintenance can be divided into wet and dry maintenance methods. For boilers that have no human (head) holes or the shutdown time is not too long, the wet method should be used for maintenance. For boilers with human (head) holes or a long shutdown time Dry maintenance should be used. Please refer to “Boiler Operation Manual” for specific operation methods
